Jamaica closer to DNA Database

The Government of Jamaica is finally closer to introducing DNA evidence as a tool in crime fighting. The Jamaican Cabinet has issued instructions for the chief parliamentary counsel to draft the legislation. Law enforcement has been wanting to introduce DNA legislation for quite some time in order to secure more convictions and solve more cases.
